Institute of Mathematics and its Application

The Institute of Mathematics and its Applications (IMA) exists to support the advancement of mathematical knowledge and its applications and to promote and enhance mathematical culture in the United Kingdom and elsewhere, for the public good. It is the professional and learned society for qualified and practising mathematicians, with a membership of around 5,000 comprising of mathematicians from all sectors, as well as those with an interest in mathematics.

Royal Academy of Engineering

University of Bath - HE STEM South West Spoke

The South West Spoke of the National HE STEM Programme delivered some 40 collaborative regional projects between 2009 and 2012 across the higher education sector and beyond and focusing on the areas of widening participation, curriculum enhancement and workforce development. All outputs from the funded projects are available for free at www.hestem-sw.org.uk
